We sing traditional songs in many languages from Europe, North America, and other parts of the world.
When things felt unstable in both of our lives, hearing, learning, and playing these songs helped us stay grounded. They bring people together, reminding us what we have in common.
With two voices, two guitars, and different musical backgrounds, we push ourselves — and each other — to explore these songs, learning new ways of singing and playing as we go.
And honestly, it’s also easier than writing our own music.
